Comment Section Guidelines & Rules
We are making this guide for those who are confused about what is acceptable and what is not acceptable when posting in our comment section. Fair warning, all comments are moderated before they are shown to the public. So if you think posting your neobux referral link on each page is going to work, then think again. You are just wasting your time. So stop while you are ahead, and read this full guide to understand what is acceptable.
1. Posting Referral Links - We do not want to see "spam" in our comment section. People visit our comment section to find information and feedback about sites. They do not need to see all the sites you are currently using. Annoying and it just clutters up the comment section.
However, we do allow referral links at the end of the comment, but it must follow these rules:
- Feedback with referral link must be posted in the correct comment section. For example do not go to neobux review and post your feedback about onbux with your referral link to onbux. That is not acceptable and will be deleted. We do not have time to move comments to the correct section, and if you are doing it for the sake of spamming then we are not going to make the effort to move the comment.
- If you post feedback, payment proof, information, or something that is useful to readers. Then as a reward you may post a referral link at the end of your comment.
- I do not want to see short and useless comments with referral links. Like "great site" then posting your referral link. That will not be acceptable and will be deleted.
- Do not copy other peoples comments and then post your referral link. That will not work either. Comment will be deleted.
- If you post a banner, make sure the html is correct. BB code does not work in the comment section. Only html.
HTML EXAMPLES FOR THE COMMENT SECTION FOR THOSE WHO NEED TO KNOW
BANNERS
<a href="your referral link"><img src="IMAGE LINK GOES HERE"/></a>
TEXT
<b> bold text goes here </b>
<i> Italic text goes here </i>
Images
<img src="image link" />
Note that forum BB code does not work in our comment section. Only basic html.
- Also, one banner per comment page. For instance I don't want to see your banner posted daily in the comment section. Looks very spammy. If you already posted a banner then you can only post the referral link with feedback then after.
2. Posting Payment Proofs - Some of you have payment proofs from sites that are not yet reviewed. If you want to post your proof go to the master list and post it under the letter the site starts with. For instance,
examplebux.com would be posted under "E" on the master list.
http://ptc-investigation.com/masterlistE.aspxYou may post your proof there with referral link as long as it is on the correct page.
If the site is already reviewed then do it on the review page. Once again, make sure the image html is correct or it will not show correctly.
3. Profanity & Cursing - Is not allowed. This is not a bar or pub. I do not want to see any cursing in the comment section. It may be cool to do it on youtube or other comment areas, but it is not cool here. If you can't express yourself with a clean vocabulary then don't bother commenting. If you do curse, the comment will be edited and profanity removed.
4. Request Page - We do allow referral links on the request page if the site hasn't been requested yet, or a referral link has never been given. If the site is a obvious scam site, referral link will be removed. If the site has already been requested before and it is already in the queue, then the referral link will be removed.
5. Home Page - A big problem lately. Many people are just too lazy to post on the review page and post on the home page about a site. Those comments will be deleted. It is not useful to post there if people that are reading the site review can't see your comment because you commented on the wrong page.
Basically, STAY ON TOPIC. Don't go to the home page and post a problem you have loading a site. Go to the review page and post it so others who are having the same issue can see your comment.
The home page is only for discussions about the PTC industry or questions about this blog. Not about individual sites, asking if a site is a scam, or for us to review a site.
6. Emails - We do not like to see people posting emails in the comment section. If you post yours, then that is fine, but it is your responsibility and it could lead to your email box getting hit with spam. Not from us, but from those who read and see your email address. So we would advise against posting your email out in the open.
7. Personal Information - Posting owner's home addresses, ips, emails, personal pictures, or other personal info is not allowed. You may feel they are scammers but it is very dangerous to post this kind of info to a group of people who are upset about losing their earnings from a ptc site.
Some people wish harm would come to some of these owners, and we personally do not feel that money is a good reason to cause any bodily harm to another human being. Let law enforcement decide their fate. We are not law enforcement. We review and post warnings about other sites. If you do post sensitive personal info about a person it will be for our eyes only and will not be shown to the public.
8. Comment Approval Wait Time - Generally I approve comments once every 24hrs. If the comment asks for me to look at something or needs me to respond then I will save it for later and respond when I have time to look at the site or the problem. Which can take up to 48hrs.
Requests to review sites will also take up to 48hrs to show. Since we have to add the site to the pending review queue and save the referral links. All of this takes time and can not be rushed.
9. Banner Rotators - Some of you comment for us to add you to the rotator. If it is done on the review page it will not be shown and it will be for our eyes only. If the site does have a rortator you will be added. If not, then you just wasted your time asking. Be sure to check the end of the review before asking, or check the rotator list to make sure there are spots open. If you post on the Banner Rotators page it will be published and we will confirm whether or not you were added. More info about banner rotators: http://ptc-investigation.com/BannerRotators.aspx
10. Spam Page - Yes we have one. As long as you do not post referral links to scam sites, you are free to post your referral links on the spam page. Which can be found here. http://ptc-investigation.com/spam.aspx
11. Comment Section Load Time - At times it take time to load due to the add-ons and other issues. If you feel it is taking too long just click on the "Intense Debate" button and it will take you to the comment section for that page. It will look like this:
12. Comment Does Not Appear - If you are 100% sure that you commented and you did not break any rules then don't hesitate to contact us about it and we will find the reason why your comment is not showing. We try our best to publish all comments. Even if it is negative toward us. I accept the bad with the good. As long as you are not breaking any of the rules above.
13. Pages With Capital Letters - Found out the hard way that intense debate does not know how to read web pages that have capital letters in the page address. If you will notice that neobux review page has capital letters. If a person is to type the address in all lower case you will see a different comment section. Basically Intense Debate treats it like a new page. So a new comment section is made for the variation. So if you type in the url, make sure you go back to the same page you commented on before.
We stopped making web pages with capital letters due to this problem but a lot of the main pages will still have the capital letters. Example:
http://ptc-investigation.com/NeoBux.aspx
Now visit this variation and notice the comment section is different?
http://ptc-investigation.com/neobux.aspx
Most pages address do not have a capital letter but this is just a warning to those who may be confused by it.
If you have a question on what is and isn't allowed in our comment section feel free to ask in the comment section below.
