For over 2 years we have tested the site as a standard/free member. We have decided to go Golden. So from here on forth you will see payment proofs of a larger sum. Note that results will vary and not everyone will have the same results. Payment proofs 1 - 38 is us as a free member. Number 39 and up are as a upgraded member.
Site will be moved from the Legit List to the Elite List. Site recently lowered the ad rates for standard members and it didn't sit well for many. As a precaution and for evaluation we moved the site off the Elite List to the Legit List for 3 months to see if the changes would affect the site in a negative way since many vowed to leave the site due to the changes. 3 months have passed and the site still pays without any delay with very little problems. No reason to keep the site off the Elite List due to those who disagree with the rates or earning potential. If you plan on using this site, be sure to test it fully before investing on it. Please see cons #2 for more info.
Here are the pros and cons of Neobux:
PROS:
1. Forum - This site does have a forum. Forums are great for communication between members and staff. Members can post payment proofs, get support, and stay up to date on changes made to the site. You can find their forum here: http://www.neobux.com/forum/
2. Paying - They are paying and payment proofs can be found on the forum and throughout the web. Here are a few places where you can view these proofs:

3. All Countries Accepted - Anyone can earn from this site. Although some may experience the "Another user using your IP address already viewed this advertisement in the last 24 hours... " problem. Which means you are using a dynamic IP. See image for a solution to the problem:
4. Instant Payments - A great option for any site to have. No more waiting days or weeks for something you rightfully earned.
5. Secondary Password & Pin- You have the option of creating a secondary password to protect your account. Which is highly recommended that you use this option.
6. DDoS Protection - Site claims it is protected from DDoS attacks via blockdos.net (
more info). Which is a big threat to PTC sites. Such protection can be very expensive but these days it is needed to protect the site from possible threats and downtime.
7. Established Site- The site has been online since March 2008. Over 3 years and counting. A great achievement for any site.
8. Decent Direct Ref Limits - As your time spent on this site grows, your ref limits will increase. Some might not like this, but we find this to be a fair direct referral program:
Terms: 3.10. Users can only have direct referrals after being a member for at least 30 days and having at least 100
clicks. Any attempts to get them before that will fail.
9. Bonuses - For each advertisement you see you'll have an opportunity to earn $0.50 each hour. If you've seen advertisements in the past hour, you're eligible for the draw. This amount will be added to the main balance and users can do what they want with it.
They will be rewarding only 120 users each hour with $0.50 each. To be eligible for a prize, all you need to do is view advertisements. For each seen you'll have a "ticket" for a draw.
10. Use Main Balance To Upgrade - You can use your main balance to upgrade your account. Not many sites offer this feature.
CONS:
1. Rentals Controversy - Complaints about rented referrals is the biggest complaint I receive about this site. A lot of people claim that the rentals are very poor and it is very hard to get a return on investment. We personally don't rent or recommend renting on any site. So if you are going to rent be sure to check their forum or our comment section for feedback from others about this issue.
2. A "Bux" Site - Although this site is a hybrid, it still has some elements of a "bux" site. Rentals and fixed ads. This type of ptc has a very high fail rate. Most "bux" sites go scam under 6 months, if not within a year. Most rely on upgrades and rental purchases rather than actual advertisers. A typical "bux" site will show fixed ads, sell rentals, and have a higher rate per click. This type of business model is not very successful and unsustainable, which is probably why most "bux" sites fail.

- You can only view ads using one IP address within a 24 hours period. On the other hand, you can use multiple IP addresses to login. Any attempt to do otherwise may lead to the termination of your account. Logging in from proxies or shared network environments (such as, but not limited to schools, LAN houses, cybercafés, etc.) is not allowed.
Which means, do not create more than one account on one computer! I receive numerous comments about this. You CAN NOT make multiple accounts on one computer. If you do, you risk all accounts being suspended.
- You can only use a maximum of 3 distinct computers in a 10 days period to view advertisements. Any attempt to use more than that in that defined period will cause an account suspension.
- Once again, users can only have direct referrals after being a member for at least 30 days and having at least 100 clicks. Any attempts to get them before that will fail.
- "You can only request an unlimited amount to be paid to the payment processor you've used to make the most of your purchases in monetary amount." For instance if you make a purchase with AlertPay only, you can not request your earnings through Paypal. You must request from the one that you used the most for making purchases. If you have not made any purchases, then this will not affect you. This rule was implemented to abide by "European Anti Money Laundering Regulations".
- First payout is set at $2.00 and then this will increase $1.00 for each cashout until it reaches a fixed minimum amount of $10.00. A fee will be deducted depending on the payment processor used.
- After 30 days of inactivity, your account will be temporarily suspended and permanently suspended after 60 days of inactivity. An inactive user for 72 hours after registration will have the account permanently suspended.
- Not all results will be the same: If you look at my banner you will see how much I have made with neobux. Not everyone will have the same results. It takes work, and if you are expecting fast results in a short period of time you may be disappointed. For whatever route you choose to go with this site, whether referring others under you, upgrading, or buying rentals, it will take some work and extra planning to make this program work for you.

NeoBux has been online and paying for over 3 years. It is one of the oldest bux sites online that continues to pay. We have not had any problems with this site and have been paid instantly at every request. We feel this is a safe and paying site to use.
