Roll Call & Banner Rotators Policy
1. Roll Call
"What is roll call?"
Roll call is where those who are currently on banner rotators report to us that they are still active on a site and that they like to remain on the rotator. This is a lot like what you would do in grade school for attendance.
This is not for asking to get on the rotator or to add you if there is a spot open! Requests to be on a rotator that is maxed out during roll call will be ignored. Read the rules and policy below.
2. Banner Rotators
"What are Banner Rotators?"
Rotators are banners and links that rotate on each page view. We only add rotators to sites we are not using, or we have maxed out our direct referrals limits. If there is a rotator there will be a image of a clipboard at the end of the review. Click it to see if there are spots open..
Current Rotators: http://ptc-investigations-archive...
We do not accept encrypted referral links.
Due to several that were caught trying to submit their referral link twice, we no longer accept encrypted referral links. The link must have your actual user name. Failure to give us the correct link will result refusal in adding you to the rotator. We want honest people on these rotators. Not someone that wants to take up two spaces for him/herself.
- The Basics -
- 3. We do not accept pre-requests or "just in case you add a rotator" submissions.
- 4. Sites on the Scam List and Watch List will never have a banner rotator.
5. Requests can be made in our comment section on the review page or on this page. If you want your comment to appear then comment on this page. Comments about rotators on the review page will be for our eyes only. Comment will not appear, however check the rotator list by clicking on the clipboard to see if you are on the rotator. Give us up to 48hrs to add you.
- 6. If you are on a banner rotator, you must report for "roll call" . Roll Call is where those currently on a rotator report to us and let us know that the are still actively using the site.
- 7. Roll Call is done every 2 months and clearly marked throughout the site as to when it starts.
- Next roll call starts on March 1st, 2012 12:00am - Roll Call ends March 3rd, 2012 11:59pm
- 8. Failure to report for "Roll Call" will result in removal, and your spot will be given to another active member after roll call is over.
Anyone caught trying to get on the same roator twice will result in removal and blacklisted from using our rotators. Also anyone that has been caught running a scam site will be removed. We want honest people on our rotators that deserve to earn free referrals.
- 9. If you fail to report for roll call for a site, and you make a request to be added back... you will have to wait a full 2 months cycle to request to be on that same rotator for the site that you missed roll call for.
- 10. To report for roll call just go to the review page OR this page and post that you are still using the site:
Review Page Example: (comments wont appear, for our eyes only)
"z1975z still using example.com please don't remove me. Thanks"
Banner Rotator Page Example: (comments will appear w/confirmation)
or you can go to this page in the comment section and report all the sites you are currently on rotators for.
"z1975z still using: "clicksia, incentria, and bux-matrix. Please don't remove me. Thanks"
- 11. Within 48hrs we will highlight your username on the rotator list which will indicate that you have reported for roll call and you are still active.
- 12. After roll call is completed, all highlights will be removed and rotators will be open if they have spots left from those who failed to report. You can only request to be on the rotator after roll call is done and spots have opened up. Not a moment before. Roll call is over : March 3rd, 2012 11:59pm
- 13. Only 20 people will be sponsored on the rotator for each site. 10 for the review page and 10 for the payment proof page (if there is one). Sometimes only 10 for smaller and newer sites without payment proofs.
Having too many on a rotator will give people a low chance of receiving a referral from the rotator. So we have to limit the number on each rotator.
14. Why Are We Doing This ?We feel that if we are not going to use the site or if we max out that others should have the opportunity to take our place. We do not charge any fee for this. So please don't contact us and offer to pay in order to get a spot. It is on the first come first served basis.
15. Why Don't You Change Them Out ?Many asked why can't we replace people on the rotator weekly so others can be on them too. The fact is that we don't have time to go through every single site and add and remove people from rotators. That would be grueling process and we would be changing out rotators rather than reviewing sites. However, we are willing to compromise. Starting July 4th, 2010 we will start removing and replacing people every 2 months.
16. Why Do We Do Roll Call?Too many have asked to be on the rotator and we never hear from them again. Some people will join sites and then later lose interest. Either the earnings are too slow, or they no longer like the site.
When this happens we are playing the guessing game on who is active and who is not. If we make people report back to us
every 2 months, at least we don't have to wonder whether or not people are actually still using the site. This also gives others the opportunity to get on the rotator. If you forget to report back, you will just have to wait 2 months later to see if there is a spot open again.
17. Can I ask NOW and then if a spot open you add me ? NO, it will just create a long list of people waiting to get on the rotator. and all we would be doing is saving links and not getting anything else done due to the number of requests and emails.
18. Can you just get someone to help you so you don't have to do this by yourself?NO, because I have to pay them. Either by giving spots on the rotator or money. Which would be one less spot on the rotator for others. I would have to be paying employees for something I provide for free??
Not counting I would have to put in a lot of trust into a complete stranger to have access to this site. Which I will not do.
19. Someone just reported a site and I see it in the queue, but kindly add me to the rotator when you complete the review...No, you will have to wait till the review is finish. When I announce that we are accepting links for the rotator then and only then you can ask to be on it. Not before or "just in case".
20. I see my link on the rotator list but is says "queued" What does that mean?It means that you asked to be on the rotator at the time it was open for requests. However we received too many requests and your request came in last. You will be queued for the rotator if someone reports that they have maxed out or stopped using the site.
Note that you still have to report for roll call if you want to remain in line to receive a spot on the rotator if someone forgets or does not report for roll call. Those that are queued will be the first ones to take their place. We only create these queues if too many asked to be on the rotator when we were accepting submissions. Do not ask to go on the queue after we have stopped accepting links.
21. Why do I see rotators on reviews that are not listed in the rotator list? These shared rotators and only for those that are in my downline.
So please do not ask to go on these rotators.
For those who are wondering how shared rotators work...
The first users who have joined under me and are the most active, go on
the rotator first. One person will share a spot with me on this rotator
for 7 days. After 7 days is up, the next person in my downline will take
their place for 7 days, and the next one after that. The older sites I
am currently adding people that have joined under me from 2009 or
earlier. So it may take awhile to go through and add my entire downline
to these rotators.
For the sites I do not use or max out on, I will still offer rotator for
all to use like before. So nothing has changed for the general
rotators. This is just for information purposes so everyone does not get
confused as to why there are rotators up on some pages yet you can not
see the rotator list.
Shared Rotator List
If anyone has any questions about the please let us know in the comment section below. Here is the timer that we will be adding to the end of the reviews here shortly...
